Does it work with no signal?
Yes. Everything runs on the device, including generating the PDF. Basements, lift shafts, plant rooms and remote sites are all fine. The only time the app touches the network is to check a Google Play purchase.
Can I put more than one photo on a single snag?
Yes. Attach multiple photos to the same snag, each with its own caption and mark up. The photos and captions stay with that item in the exported PDF report.
Is there a subscription?
No. The app is free to use, and Pro is a one time purchase through Google Play: £18.99 in the UK, €21.99 in Ireland or A$29.99 in Australia. There is no account, no seat pricing and nothing to renew.
What do I get without paying?
The free version runs one complete project with unlimited snags and photos, full mark up, voice to text, and a finished PDF report. Exported reports carry a small credit line in the footer. Backup and restore is never restricted, so you can finish a real job before deciding whether Pro is worth it.
Which features need the Pro unlock?
Pro is a one time purchase of £18.99 in the UK, €21.99 in Ireland or A$29.99 in Australia (Google Play shows your local price). It unlocks unlimited projects, removes the credit line from your PDFs, adds one filtered report per contractor, CSV export of the issue register, and maximum quality PDF output. Everything you captured in the free version stays exactly where it was.
Can each trade get only their own snags?
Yes. Assign each snag to a contractor, then export one filtered report per trade. The plasterer gets the plastering list and nothing else, which is usually the difference between a snag being actioned and being ignored.
Where is my data stored, and can you see it?
On your phone, in the app's private storage. There is no server, no account and no analytics, so there is nothing for us to look at. You can export a full backup to a single zip file and keep it wherever you like.
Is there an iPhone version?
Not at the moment. The app is Android only. If enough people ask for iOS it will get built, but it would be dishonest to promise a date today.
Can I put my own logo and business number on the report?
Yes. Your company name, logo, business number (ABN, company number or VAT number, whatever applies where you work) and the inspector's name, email and phone all go on the report, so what lands in the client's inbox looks like your document rather than an app's.
Why does Google Play show a different name in my country?
The store listing title is localised: it appears as "Snagging Report & Snag List" in the UK and Ireland and "Building Defect Report App" in Australia. It is the same app, package com.blumintdigital.siteaudit, published by Blu Mint Digital, and the app itself is called Site Audit & Snag List Report everywhere.
Can I try it before buying Pro?
Yes, and there is no trial clock. The free version is the full app limited to one project, so you can run a real inspection, generate the PDF and send it to a client before paying anything. If you later unlock Pro, your project and photos are untouched.
