The best punch list apps for Android in 2026, with real prices
Search Google Play for a punch list app and you get two very different kinds of product mixed together: small apps that turn one person's walk into a PDF, and team platforms that happen to have a phone app. Decide which kind you need first and the choice gets short. We make one of the nine apps below, and we say where it is the wrong pick.

Two kinds of punch list app
One person, one PDF. You walk the job, record each item with photos, and send a report to the GC, the owner or the subs. Nobody else edits the list. These apps are cheap or one-time purchases, usually work fully offline and often need no account.
A shared list for a team. Several people add and close items on one live list, often pinned to drawing sheets, with a web dashboard for the office. These are per-user subscriptions, need accounts and are built around a cloud project.
Paying per seat for a team platform when you are a crew of one is the most common mistake. So is trying to run a fifty-person closeout from a PDF on one phone.
Prices and free tiers below were checked on 6 October 2026 from each vendor’s pricing page and its US Google Play listing. They change often and vary by country, so check the listing before you buy.
The quick answer
- Solo contractor, remodeler or inspector who wants a PDF and no subscription: Site Audit & Snag List Report (free for one project, then a one-time unlock) or Site Audit Pro (paid upfront, also on iPhone).
- Small team that wants a shared list for free: Fieldwire Basic if you work off plan sheets, Dalux Field Basic if you want unlimited members, Mitti if your punch walk is really a checklist.
- Team paying for a dedicated defect tool: PlanRadar or Fieldwire Pro.
- General contractor already running projects in Procore: use its punch list tool rather than adding another app.

“Account needed” for the team platforms is our reading of how they work, since a shared cloud list needs one. Where a vendor did not state something, we have said so rather than guess.
Apps for one person and a PDF
Site Audit & Snag List Report
Ours, made by Blu Mint Digital. Each punch item gets a location, several captioned photos with markup, a description you can dictate, a contractor, a priority, a status and a due date. The output is a branded PDF report you share from the phone. It works offline, needs no account and has no ads.
The free version is the whole app limited to one project, with no cap on items or photos. Its PDF carries a small credit line in the footer. The one-time Pro unlock adds unlimited projects, removes the credit line, and adds a separate PDF per subcontractor, CSV export and a maximum-quality PDF setting. Android only. See the free punch list app page or a sample report.
Punch List & Site Audit Report (Rojao)
The closest product to ours, and despite the similar name, a separate app from a different company. It is also offline with no account. It is a subscription: US$9.99 a month or US$79.99 a year, with team seats sold per year. Its website and its Play listing describe the free version differently, the site saying it includes unlimited punch lists and the listing putting unlimited lists and PDF exports in Pro. Check inside the app what you can export before committing to a job.
Site Audit Pro
A long-established audit and snagging app from Veam Studios, with more than 100,000 installs on Google Play. It is paid upfront, US$12.90 on the US store when checked, and is also on iPhone, bought separately. An optional cloud subscription (£6.99 a month or £59.99 a year) adds sync. Offline projects work on every tier. A good choice if you want iPhone support or a choice of report layouts.
Snag List (Boluga)
Free for unlimited projects and issues, with PDF and printing unlocked by a one-time in-app purchase. The listing had not been updated since April 2023 when we checked, which is worth weighing for an app that will hold your records.
Apps for teams and shared lists
Fieldwire
Plan-based task management, owned by Hilti. Punch items are tasks pinned to drawing sheets that the whole team sees. The free Basic plan covers 5 users, 3 projects and 100 sheets. Pro is US$39 per user per month billed annually, and reports and exports start at Pro. It has an offline mode.
Mitti (formerly SafetyCulture)
The inspection platform previously known as SafetyCulture and iAuditor. Strong when the punch walk follows a checklist template. The free plan covers up to 10 users and 5 active templates and includes PDF reports. Premium is US$24 per seat per month billed annually.
Dalux Field
Field Basic is described by Dalux as completely free, with unlimited snags and project members, which is unusual in this category. Paid tiers add more and are priced on request. Best when the project already runs on Dalux or a BIM model.
PlanRadar
A cloud defect and task platform working from plans, with PDF and Excel reports and offline use. There is no free tier, only a 30-day trial. Basic starts at US$32 a month for one user and 10 plans, and the pricing page notes a 4% annual fee increase from the second year.
Procore
A full construction management platform with a punch list tool inside it. It is sold by quote, priced on annual construction volume with unlimited users, and the app needs an active subscription. Not a standalone punch list purchase.
Which ones are actually free
“Free punch list app” covers very different offers. A 30-day trial is not free once the job runs long. A free tier with no PDF export means typing the list up again for the person who has to fix it. A free team plan is genuinely useful if your crew fits within its user and project limits.
Ask one question of any free version: can I complete one real job with it, from the walk to a report the sub can act on? For a single job, Site Audit, Fieldwire Basic, Dalux Field Basic and the Mitti free plan all answer yes in different ways. Our guide to buying without a subscription covers the one-time option in more detail.
When not to choose ours
- You or your team use iPhones. Site Audit is Android only.
- Several people need to edit one live list at the same time.
- You need items pinned to drawing sheets or a web dashboard for the office.
- Your client requires their own platform, such as Procore.
In any of those cases, look at the team platforms above.
Test any of them in 30 minutes
- Create a project and add five real items from a job, each with two photos.
- Turn on airplane mode and add two more. Note what still works.
- Generate the report and read it on a laptop at normal size.
- Send it to a sub and ask whether they could find and fix each item without calling you.
- Find out how to back up or export the data, before you rely on it.
Whichever app wins, a good punch list depends more on clear item descriptions than on software. See the punch list closeout guide and the printable punch list template.
